BioGirl who was sucked down the Harry Potter rabbit hole on her twelfth birthday. Also a writer, reader and reviewer of HP fanfiction; my stories can be found at fanfiction.net (User ID 54604) and at http://www.theastronomytower.org (Celithrathien). I am hopelessly addicted to SS/HG, but also open to Gin&Tonic, Pumpkinpie, Leather & Libraries, and that classic ship, Guns & Handcuffs.
I do, however, have a real life. In it I spend most of my time reading mysteries. My favourite authors in this genre are Rex Stout, Dorothy L. Sayers, Ngaio Marsh, PD James (O marry me Cordelia Gray), John Dickson Carr, Agatha Christie (say what you want, you cannot deny that "And Then There Were None" was just superbly intelligent) and Laurie R. King. My favourite non-mystery book at the moment is "The Ringmaster's Daughter" by Jostein Gaarder.
I love the poetry of TS Eliot, Audre Geraldine Lorde, Sylvia Plath (yes I am angsty teenager, what the hey), Amy Lowell, Matthew Arnold, and more--not to forget the wonderful, wonderful e. e. cummings.
And I am a supreme nerd. I *love* Geometry and my favourite, favourite subject is Chemistry even though I am the quintessential english teacher's pet. Who must get out more.
